Possible meanings: triangle with a star at each point?

Occurrence: I was in bed and suddenly something forced my head to turn and look at the other side where my sister lay in her bed she was asleep and something suddenly sat up coming from her body but at the same time she lay down I was forced down to my bed by my arms as I went to scream there was silence no noise would come from me. I saw a symbol also I have tried researching but can't find anything of the sort. On the ceiling was a triangle (very bright) and on yeah point was a star. Does anyone know what this symbol is or could mean? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
