Is this the last straw, or am I overreacting?

I'm gonna give you a good piece of advice. Look at this mans attitude to his mother. If it is in anyway disrespectful, this is what you can expect later in life. If on the other hand he has a loving and kind relationship, this too is what you can expect. Good luck.
