Read, comment, and criticize my poem, Thanks?

I read this a couple of times trying to find some redeeming value. It has a message, but it is poorly delivered in the midst of cliches. The only poetic device I could really identify was repetition, and that is ineffective. Your verses lack depth and emotion. There is no imagery, there is nothing that really sparks any interest... Honestly, I would struggle to call this a poem.
