Why do i get a hard on in speedos but not briefs?

Briefs are more of a private thing that not many people get to see since it isnt appropriate to wear them in public. Speedos are meant to be worn in front of people and for that reason you may get more turned on by that thought. That is at least the reason I would get hard in Speedos.
