Why do you think it speedos are "gay" to Americans?

Because they show off a lot of skin, similar to female bikini. Also Its completely different then american society that sports bagy shirts and shorts and always covering their legs. but I don't think that speedos are really gay, just unusual, but they don't bother me much...
