One night at a college I sat in silence and was "still" attmepting to hear Gods voice?

Meditating on God, For a while I sat there in silence, then I went into this trance like state and something Literally pulled me out of Life and it was like I was Dead... like I didn't exist, I was completly satisfied, all my needs were met I felt full and it was complete peace.. it was silent too, I couldn't feel my body at all, I was in darkness and something held me closly, it was cold outside but I was comfertably warm... it only lasted for less then a second it seemed but it felt like eternity.. Was this God holding me?
