I'm going to Stuyvesant and I have a few questions...?

I heard there was a swimming test. If you pass it, you won't have to take swim gym? I can only freestyle and backstroke, I can't do anything fancy like dolphin. What are the requirements? Are speedos required, or can I wear swimming trunks?
